Same-day emergency dental care in Georgetown

Dental emergencies don’t wait, and neither should you. Call us right away — we offer same-day appointments for dental emergencies whenever possible.

Common dental emergencies we treat

  • Severe toothache or throbbing pain
  • Chipped, cracked or broken teeth
  • Knocked-out teeth
  • Lost fillings or crowns
  • Swelling, abscess or infection in the gums or face
  • Injuries to the teeth, lips or gums from sports or accidents

What to do before you get here

Knocked-out tooth

Pick the tooth up by the crown (the white part), not the root. If it’s dirty, rinse it gently without scrubbing. If you can, place it back in the socket and bite on a clean cloth; otherwise keep it in milk or inside your cheek and call us immediately — time matters.

Toothache

Rinse with warm water, gently floss to remove trapped food and take an over-the-counter pain reliever as directed. Avoid placing aspirin directly on the gums.

Broken tooth or lost crown

Save any pieces, rinse your mouth and use a cold compress on your cheek to reduce swelling. Avoid chewing on that side until we can see you.

If you have facial swelling that is spreading, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or a serious injury, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.

Fast relief, honest care

Our first priority is getting you out of pain. We’ll diagnose the problem — using 3D imaging when needed — explain your options and give you a clear estimate before any treatment. Many emergencies can be treated at the same visit, often with root canal therapy or a restoration.
